"The decisions I make during the course of my work are based on intuition. I tend to go with the flow of my creativity and I don't limit myself based on practicality...I can deal with that later. Concepts come to me, and I let them simmer overnight, over a few days, maybe weeks. Most of my best work comes through visualization. Closing my eyes and just imagining the story unfolding before my eyes, this pertains to musical melodies as well. If I'm composing music in logic, I close my eyes to hear how different sounds or parts fit in with the rest of the track. I visualize it.
I like being able to create. It doesn't matter what form the creativity takes place as, although I have my favorites: music, filmmaking, and acting. I like being able to share stories that resonate with people, stories that get both me and the audience excited. I like the emotional connections that are made and how even the most simple appearing art works can have such a deep underlying meaning (or multiple meanings). This love for story telling is why my goals are to play characters outside of myself in films, to undergo new perspectives, it's why I want to sing my song lyrics on a stage, and have the emotional emphasis of music to back me up, it's why I want to write books and screenplays, for others to interpret my work and find their own connection to it, their own likes or dislikes.
Through art one can communicate truth, and this truth is what allows people to reflect on oneself and open up their minds to new perspectives or ways of thinking. In this way, art acts as a mirror."

BIO
Nicole de la Cruz is a fantasy pop-rock singer-songwriter, actress, filmmaker and social media influencer based in Los Angeles. She is most known for her social media channels in which she has over 700K fans and 550 Million views across all platforms. Nicole is best known for her TikTok account (@nicolemariedlc), in which she posts creative acting skits and her music. She is also known for her music video Moonstruck (2021), produced by Reign Productions in partnership with New Atlantis Media, which has garnered over half a million views to date on Youtube. Nicole is currently working on her debut music album and debut feature film. Her music can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, and more.

Nicole de la Cruz's music is a blend of the early 2000s pop-rock sound and a modern day alternative edge with medieval fantasy influences. Featuring heavy hitting bass sounds, electric guitar, orchestration and rock drums, Nicole’s music showcases her desire for a fantasy-filled world, highlighting deep discussion with empowering lyrics that feel like a song out of a fantasy battleground or ethereal world.
Coming from a musical upbringing and being raised by a single mother, Nicole sought out an escape from the world through fantasy reading and, of course, music. Combining the two together, you get music and lyrics inspired by strong heroines and heroes that leaves a positive impact on the world.
Her music reflects the warrior her childhood self yearned to become through reading. It is a brush stroke of the childish color and creativity that continues to live on inside of her.
